Abstract:

Knowledge in field of ancient books are complex, mass and hard to study. It’s still a challenge to organize the multifarious data in this field reasonably and effectively. This paper first analyzes the necessity of building a database which is based on ancient book editions, and then uses the ontology technology to design some classes, attributes and examples of ancient book editions. Finally, this paper uses the Protégé to construct the ontology library, making a research about the structured and systematic data in the field of ancient book editions and making a foundation to construct a database which is based on ancient book editions.
