中国文献学学科体系的历史演变与现实重建

On the Evolution History and Realistic Construction of the Discipline System of Documentation in China

摘要:

中国文献学历史悠久,古有校雠学之谓。自近代以来,文献学学科体系的演变经历了大致三个阶段:民国初期由“校雠学”变身“文献学”初期的学科体系;1980年代以版本学、校勘学、目录学组成的“三位一体”结构为基础的文献学学科体系;1990年代至21世纪初的“大文献学”学科体系。论文比较分析了这三个阶段文献学学科体系的基本特点和存在不足,指出:研究对象和核心研究内容是文献学区别于其他学科的本质属性,理应成为构建文献学学科体系的基石;在当今学科大融合的趋势下,以时代性将文献学划分为看似本质不同的传统文献学和现代文献学已不合时宜;文献学学科体系的建立应内外有别,注意突出学科的核心内容,防止学科的泛化。以此为基础,作者尝试构建了以文献学研究对象和核心研究内容为基础的全新的文献学学科体系。

Abstract:

Documentation has a very long history in China but it had another name “Jiaochou studies” in ancient times. The construction of the discipline system of Documentation has experienced three stages in China: The discipline system of Documentation of the early Republic of China, it was changed from “Jiaochou studies” with a lot of characteristics of traditional Chinese academic; The discipline system of Documentation of 1980s, it was a threeinone structure consisted of edition studies, textual criticism and bibliography; The discipline system of Documentation from 1990s to the early 21st  century, it was a macro integration of ancient and modern Documentation. This paper analyzes the basic features and shortcomings of these three discipline systems and argues that: The research object and core contents should be looked as the basis of the discipline system of Documentation because of their different discipline attributes; It is not appropriate to divide Documentation into the traditional part and modern part in the trend of the integration of disciplines; It is very important to highlight the core position of literature organization and utilization and avoid the discipline generalization. Finally, the authors try to set up a new discipline system of Documentation based on its research object and core contents.
