北美高校图书馆数字学术教育调查与分析

Digital Scholarship Education of Academic Libraries in North America: An Investigation and Analysis

摘要:

数字学术教育是北美高校图书馆数字学术支持的一项内容,研究北美高校图书馆的数字学术教育,对我国高校图书馆的相关工作具有借鉴意义。本文采用网站调查与文献调查相结合的方法,调查了北美高校图书馆开展的数字学术教育。调查发现,北美高校图书馆通过开设课程、开展工作坊、提供在线培训教程与指南、开展融入数字学术活动的教育等形式开展了内容较丰富的数字学术教育,数字学术教育呈现出注重数字学术技能教育、与校内机构合作开展数字学术教育、采取多种教育形式、提供用户定制的数字学术教育等特色。提出了对我国高校图书馆的启示:提高对数字学术教育的重视、明确数字学术教育的基本内容、创新教育活动的形式、开展嵌入式的教育活动、合作开展教育活动。

Abstract:

Digital scholarship education is a part of support for digital scholarship of academic libraries in North America. It is essential to study the digital scholarship education of academic libraries in North America, which can provide some lessons to the work of academic libraries in China. By websites and literature investigation, this paper studies how academic libraries in North America conduct their digital scholarship education. The findings are as follows: academic libraries in North America provide services including courses, workshops, online training courses and guidance, as well as education integrated into digital scholarship activities, which indicates the diversity of digital scholarship education forms. Digital scholarship education also show some characteristics such as focusing on digital scholarship skills education, cooperating with institutions in universities, using a variety of ways for education, providing customized education. According to the results, this paper proposes some suggestions to academic libraries in China, including more focus on digital scholarship education, clear definition of digital scholarship education content, innovation of education forms, implementation of embedded digital scholarship education and cooperation with other institutions.
