Abstract:

Using modularity of complex network and two types of social network public opinion indices: centrality and clustering coefficients, this paper proposes an analysis method for studying microstructure of microblog social network based on an empirical research of government affairs microblog “Shanghai City”. The study shows that our method makes a good performance on capturing individual characteristics of microblogging social network structure with better adaptability. Meanwhile, eigenvectors, page rank index and authoritative index introduced in this paper enrich the basis of the network evaluation. In addition, this paper provides some suggestions for the development of government affairs microblog.
