Abstract:

Through statistic analysis and visualization of CNKI and other databases from 2006 to 2015, 1897 paper’s bibliographic information reveal the propagation path in the domestic application of CiteSpace. Liu Zeyuan pays the earliest attention and introduces the CiteSpace software. Hou Jianhua is the first person to use CiteSpace as an analytical tool for the paper in China, but also is the most highyield author. Core journals, CSSCI journals are the main channels for the spread of CiteSpace applications, and other journals maintain a momentum year after year. Dalian University of Technology, Wuhan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences are the three largest institutions in the promotion of CiteSpace applications. Information Sciences and digital library fields have been dominated by the application of CiteSpace, education and economics are the fastest growing fields, and the applications are increasing rapidly in management sciences, administrative sciences,psychology,medicine,biology and so on. According to comprehensive analysis of the current situation of domestic CiteSpace applications,the paper draws a Citespace domestic application transmission chain with “three stages,two turnings” as the main feature for the first time,which clearly demonstrates the historical process of CiteSpace applications in China.
