Abstract:

It is of great significance to study the cognitive influencing factors for information retrieval fusion based on the IIR model of Ingwersen for deepening theories and expanding methods. Based on IIR model, this paper systematically discusses and analyzes the factors that influence information retrieval fusion, including retrieval performance, cognitive differences, systematic comparison, sample distribution, system numbers and algorithm based information. This paper proposes a cognitive framework of influencing factors for information retrieval fusion based on IIR model. With some information retrieval schema, typical information fusion methods and experiments based on iSearch test collection, the authors systematically discuss and verify the proposed cognitive framework.In future research, the authors will focus on quantitative analysis and critical conditions of influencing factors, and try to find more excellent datasets to support the proposed conclusions.
