基于ESI数学学科的数据对比分析及对学科建设的思考——以武汉大学数学学科为例

摘要:

本文采用文献计量学的分析方法,选取包含兰州大学、上海交通大学、东南大学、中山大学在内的几所高校数学学科的ESI数据,与武汉大学的数学学科进行对比分析。根据ESI数据统计的原则和标准,通过SCIE/SSCI数据库获取数据,具体分析了2006—2016年,该五所学校的数学学科的发文量、引文数、被引频次和高水平论文占比、合作机构的分布等,指出了武汉大学数学学科发展的优势与不足,并就如何保持和提升高校学科地位、加快推进世界一流大学和高水平学科建设提出了建议。

Abstract:

Adopting the analysis method of literature metrology, this research compares and analyzes the ESI data of mathematics from Wuhan University with the data from several universities including Lanzhou University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southeast University, and Sun Yatsen University. This paper reveals the advantages and shortages existing in mathematics of Wuhan University through detailed analysis of academic achievements of these five universities over recent ten years (20062016) by means of SCIE/SSCI database on the basis of the principle and standard of ESI data statistics. Meanwhile, this paper makes suggestions on how to maintain and promote the subject status as well as accelerate the pace of establishing a high level discipline and promoting the construction of a worldclass University.
