Abstract: ［Purpose/Significance］This paper aims to summarize the latest progress and research hotspots in the field of Library and Information Science by reviewing the conference papers of 2020 ASIS&T Annual Meeting, and provide some enlightenment and reference to scholars in related fields for mastering the academic frontiers.［Design/Methodology］Literature review was used to classify and conclude the papers of this annual conference.［Findings/Conclusion］Significant research progress and achievements have been made in traditional information behavior, health information behavior, technology optimization, technology application, data science, data management and so on; Persistence and innovation have also been found in the aspects of research topics, research backgrounds and research methods from the perspective of sustainable development.［Originality/Value］This paper reveals the opportunities and challenges in LIS from the perspective of sustainable development.
