Abstract:

This study takes ninety pieces of micro-blog information of three typical public events in the micro-blog information ecosystem as the research objects, using the PKUVIS micro-blog visual analysis tool to analyze each piece of information. According to the visual characteristics of the communication level，communication paths and communication rate，using the sail shaped drawing and statistical functions，and the method of clustering analysis，the study reveals two driving forces and three driving modes：the driving force of the retweeted users’ characteristics and micro-blog information characteristics; the radiation type in which key users guide, the chain type in which information characters lead, and the combined type of cooperating by the two factors above.
