Abstract:

Taking papers on knowledge retrieval in CNKI and Web of Science as research object, we analyze the research status and trends in this area according to the number of papers, core journals, important authors, important literatures, research focus and frontiers through CiteSpace. This study suggests that the number of internal papers lags behind the abroad; the core journals are mainly distributed in the fields of library and information science as well as computer science; the topics of the core authors’ studies and the important literatures abroad are focus on theories and models, while, the topics at home focus on the knowledge retrieval system design; the research focus and frontiers abroad focus on the microscopic study, while the domestic research focus on the macroscopic angle; meanwhile, the research shows diversified, technical and differentiated trends of study on knowledge retrieval.
