An Approach Based on the Discourse Text for Conflict Detection in Group Decision-making

Abstract:

Conflict detection is a research problem that detects the potential conflicts between the agents or agents and systems in the multi-agent collaboration activities, with the help of computer, automated systems or human-computer interaction technology. This paper discusses the definition and objects of conflict in group decision-making progress, from the perspective of public participation in public affairs discussion progress. The emphasis is the principle and implementation method of conflict detection, using an example from the Internet Forum to demonstrate how the approach based on discourse text can be used to conduct the conflict detection in public affairs discussion. The results of similarity computation and conflict existence coefficient computation manifest the feasibility of this approach.
