Abstract:

Reading interaction is one of the core elements of mobile reading, as well as the key to realize deep and meaningful reading. The analysis of the interactive behavior of college students in mobile reading promotion can play a positive promoting role of the mobile reading promotion work. By applying social network analysis, this research was carried out through the sociogram, centrality, cohesive subgroups and knowledge level of interaction. The 41 participants of this study came from the university mobile reading promotion activity. The results showed that: the team of mobile reading had low interactive density and knowledge level; the promoter and a few students formed the core circle who guided and expanded the reading interaction; the members in the subgroup were superior to the group as a whole in term of interactive frequency, extent and duration. During the university mobile reading promotion, some effective strategies can promote the readers’ deep reading such as promoter in-depth intervention, building a flat promotion team, constructing the cohesive subgroup etc.
