Abstract:

［Purpose/Significance］Hybrid reading is a new pattern of deep reading. By studying its effect process and results, we could sort out the implementation path of deep reading precisely. ［Design/Methodology］In order to explore the effects of hybrid reading on readers, 2993 posts of the topic " How much influence does reading have on people? " on the Zhi Hu platform have been used as data source, which have been applied with indepth interviews of 15 composite readers. Through the qualitative analysis, this paper conducts an inductive reasoning for the effective factors, processes and results of composite readers.
［Findings/Conclusion］Readers' psychology, reading behavior and reading environment have influence on readers' life plan, lifestyle and thinking, which results in the effects of reshaping, strengthening, compensating and weakening. ［Originality/Value］By using the concept and focusing on the process, a research on reading effects has been conducted, which is different from the effectiveness research focusing on the results. Moreover, promotion of hybrid reading effects have been recommended.
