Abstract: [Purpose/Significance]This study aims to explore the current situation of user experience of National Digital Culture Network, which is a platform providing integrated public digital culture resource service in China.[Design/Methodology]By using experimental research method and interview tracking, this paper evaluated user experience of National Digital Culture Network from six perspectives, which are sensory experience, content experience, functional experience, service experience, value experience and emotional experience.[Findings/Conclusion]The results show that users' general evaluation of National Digital Culture Network is positive, but dissatisfaction still exists in users’ sensory experience, content experience, functional experience and service experience. Moreover, there are some differences between new users’ experience and regular users' experience. Accordingly, it is suggested that  construction of digital cultural network should focus on optimizing the interface and performance of the platform, highlighting the orientation of resource services, enhancing user interaction, increasing personalized services, expanding login entrance, and paying attention to privacy protection.[Originality/Value]An empirical study on user experience evaluation of largescale public digital culture service platform in China has been conducted in order to promote the matching between users’ needs and public digital culture service platform, as well as provide decisionmaking support for improving the effectiveness of public digital culture service.
