Abstract: Based upon the new theoretical and practical development in the field of library, information and archives science, this study discussed the emerging issues which involves scientific and technological intelligence work in the competition era of following, paralleling and leading, blockchain informatics, preserving scientific and technological information in open scientific research ecological environment, difficulties and missions of library science education, theoretical development of post-modern archives science, the the integration and expansion of think tank research and library, information and archives science. It is a reflection of the research spirit of library and information science, which is consolidation and innovation.
