Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] This study explores the influence degree of user information literacy level on the information dilemma and seeks relevant countermeasures to break through information dilemma. [Design/Methodology] Based on the existing literature, social identity theory and cognitive dissonance theory, this paper constructs the measurement index system of university students' information literacy and information dilemma. The K-means clustering method is used to distinguish the information literacy level of university students, and the influence of different levels of information literacy on their information dilemma is explored by correlation analysis and regression analysis. [Findings/Conclusion] The information literacy level of university students is uneven, with a large number of middle and low level students. The information literacy of students in the middle and low information literacy group is positively correlated or not correlated with information dilemma; The information dilemma of students in high information literacy group has a significant negative correlation with information consciousness and information morality, but a significant positive correlation with some of information knowledge. [Originality/Value] From the perspective of user behavior, an evaluation index system of information dilemma is constructed. Combining with the current information literacy level of college students, the relevant countermeasures for university students to improve their information literacy level and break through the information dilemma are discussed.
