Abstract:

Based on the review of literature on OPAC user study, this paper presents a theoretical framework to summarize related research. Then, this paper discusses the research work and reveals the findings from the aspects of users’ searching behavior, searching strategy, failure retrieval and related influence factors. Afterwards, this paper reaches some conclusions in terms of the research issue, research objects, research methods and differences between domestic and foreign study. Finally, this paper points out some direction for future study.
