Abstract:
This report shows the current situation of MLIS educationin2013 and 2014 from five aspects,which are training units, teaching staff, enrollment, source of students and cultivation.Surveys of 30 MLIS training unit show that the total number of fulltime teachers in 2015 have reached 835, tutors of MLIS up to 463 and parttime instructor,363 ,has increased dramatically compared with 2014.MLIS have enrolled 705 graduate students, increased of 30.07% compared to 2014.Among them, students from 985 or 211 Engineering Colleges accounted for 26.52%, while crossdiscipline examinees accounted for 63.55%.Most training units according to the characteristics of professional degree established the corresponding curriculum system, teaching and outstanding training of practical characteristics. Then they set up their own characteristics gradually. In addition, the survey also involved in 2015 MLIS graduate employment situation, teaching materials, construction of database and more.
