Abstract:
Interdisciplinary research is an important way to innovate, while interdisciplinary science has become a significant contributor to science innovation. Using the theory of interdisciplinary knowledge communication and invisible college, citation analysis, social network analysis, multivariate statistical analysis, and analyzing tools of UCINET, Netdraw, SPSS, this article conducted an interdisciplinary analysis on the knowledge management field based on the top 60 highlycited journals selected from CNKI, and traced its research boundary of academic community. The purpose is to discover the crossdisciplinary and innerdisciplinary features of knowledge management. The results indicate that: (1) the interdisciplinary knowledge communication of knowledge management appears to be smooth, and there are few information distortion. There are three categories of journals which act respectively as knowledge sources, knowledge receivers, and bridges for knowledge communication; (2) there are four knowledge communication acrosssubgroups in the field of knowledge management, namely information science, organization management, education science, and computer science. The subgroups of information science, organization management, and computer science respectively play the roles of knowledge receivers, knowledge sources, and the bridges of knowledge communication, while the subgroup of education science has little interdisciplinary knowledge communication with others.
