Abstract:
The interdisciplinary characteristic of iSchools education and research is achieved through the diversification of their faculties. By collecting, systemizing and quantitative analysis on the disciplinary backgrounds, research areas and other information of iSchools’ faculties, this paper summarizes the development trends of iSchools' faculty construction, and gets some enlightenment for the faculty construction of library and information science education in China.
