Abstract:

Folksonomy is a new method of organizing the web resources, which allows users to describe the resource with tags freely. This paper used the software CitespaceII to illustrate the basic characteristics, the main research areas, the core authors, the hot topics and the research fronts of folksonomy based on the collection of folksonomy research papers and their citation data from Web of Knowledge platform from 2000 to 2012.
