Abstract:

Based on literatures reviews on usability evaluation of digital libraries, this paper presentstheoretical problems and two features of usability evaluation of digital libraries, builds up relationships between Information seeking process model and theories on usability evaluation of digital libraries. According to the actual fact of digital libraries, It constructs a model of usability evaluation of digital libraries based on information seeking process model, with the evaluation objects of which are interface and metadata .The validation of theory and model are tested through empirical study.
