Abstract:
By visiting the websites of 40 selected iSchools, the paper investigated the graduate courses, including master and Ph.D. courses, of Library, Information and Archives Managementabroad according to several indicators. Based on the statistical results, this paper made analysis from two perspective, the overall distribution of courses and curriculum structural settings. In addition, an analysis on the features of subject settings abroad was conducted from four aspects, which are course numbers, completeness degree of curriculum structure, emphasis of courses and category of emerging courses. This study is intended to provide a reference to our graduate course construction in Library, Information and Archives Management.
