Abstract:
In order to reflect the quality and existing problems of MLIS cultivation, this survey investigated the main sectors and impact factors of cultivation process. Based on questionnaire survey in MLIS graduates of 2014, this survey obtained 156 valid samples. Through the statistics and analysis, we get some conclusions. Firstly, MLIS cultivating organizations have clear recognition on the social demands and the position of MLIS. Secondly, it is necessary to vigorously strengthen the education on professional knowledge and occupation cognition. Thirdly, curriculum should be revised. Fourthly, we should highlight the characteristic of MLIS, especially on practical ability. Fifthly, it is ought to encourage education reform and innovation and establish the basic resources of MLIS teaching, such as case library, teaching materials, et al. Finally, we should introspect the enrollment mechanism to optimize the structure of students.
