Changes and Responses of the Library Science Course Construction Under the Background of MOOC

Abstract:

Library Science course construction has gone through three stages: The Core Course, National Excellent Course, National Excellent Resource Sharing Course. MOOC is a new type of innovative open course. Its innovative characteristics and advantages to Library Science course construction bring about the following eight aspects of changes: teaching team, service objects, construction goals, main purposes, the degree of openness, construction methods, assessment approaches, construction effects. The keys in response to the changes are as follows: playing a guiding role of Teaching Guidance Committee of Ministry of Education of Library Science, playing the exemplary role of famous universities, playing the leading role of the famous professors, playing the main part role of teachers. The latter is the most important in these four aspects.
