Abstract:

Interaction between individual and the large amount of data is becoming an important issue in big data environment. It is an inevitable requirement for knowledge service that transformation in knowledge organization, knowledge mining and knowledge services according to the semantics. The GoPubMed is a tool for semantic retrieval in biomedical field based on GO and MeSH. This paper introduces the operational principle and key technology of GoPubMed, and its service functions of knowledge classification, measurement and navigation through a retrieval case. Finally, we summarize the enlightenment that GoPubMed provides in three parts which are knowledge organization based on discipline ontology, knowledge discovery based on semantic mining and knowledge visualization oriented toward subject.
