Abstract: This is an oral history interview with Prof.Zhan Deyou. It covers his youth and college life, and conducts a review of his teaching and research in the field of library science at Wuhan University.This paper is a narrative of Prof. Zhan’ s experience and efforts in the field of library science for fifty years.
