Abstract:

Open access (OA) is becoming the trend of academic information exchanges and spreading. It can speed up the information spread speed, improve the efficiency of scientific research and reduces the research cost. The current research status of OA acceptance behavior with its influence factors, its acceptance model and countermeasures improving the acceptability both at home and abroad were reviewed in detail with 35 references. Although there were lots of factors to have impact on OA acceptance behavior, the most major influence factors generated from literature were the quality of OA documents, legal status, peer recognition, credit agencies recognition, issues about intellectual property protection and fees paid by authors. Based on the literatures, the ways to promote the acceptability of OA were summarized，namely，strengthening OA legislation, strengthening the support for OA from funds , raising public awareness on OA, and improving the quality of OA resources. The article suggested that the research of OA acceptance behavior in China should maintain investigation continuity，reinforce the interpreting researches about the influence factors, integrate organically classified with comprehensive research，and improve targeting and efficiency.
