Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] This study aims to explore the design principles and strategies of the artificial intelligence curriculum system in the discipline of information resources management. It seeks to innovatively integrate AI knowledge and methods into the teaching system of information management to promote educational reform in the field of information management under the context of New Liberal Arts. [Design/Methodology] Through literature review, as well as the investigation of curriculum plans and course descriptions in different colleges of iSchools, this study proposes and discusses the prioritization and dynamic standards of designing an AI curriculum system based on disciplinary specificity. [Findings/Conclusion] The research argues that the construction of AI curriculum system in the discipline of information resources management should follow the principles of differentiation, dynamism and applicability. In terms of teaching practice, it suggests the establishment of a customized curriculum content system, teaching methodology system and assessment management system specifically tailored to AI courses for information management majors. Furthermore, it emphasizes the need to deeply integrate the AI knowledge system with the existing course clusters in information management. [Originality/Value] Combining the cutting-edge development in the field of information resources management, this study provides a general approach and exemplar for the design of an undergraduate AI curriculum system in this discipline.
