Abstract:

Referring to the data of the southeast coastal areas from the countryrange survey, this article compares the differences between the librarians of Xiaoshan and Southeast coastal area in the aspects of subjective wellbeing, work satisfaction and organizational commitment. Overall, the community librarians in Xiaoshan indicates a significantly lower level in the happy feelings, job satisfaction and organizational commitment than the regular librarians of the southeast coast. The training, management, and human resources development to the community librarians are to be strengthened.
