Abstract:

This paper focuses on mentation of the community librarians, who belong to the system of public library service of district Xiaoshan. Questionnaire and focus group interviews are applied here to discover librarians’ subjective wellbeing, work satisfaction and organizational commitment. The results show that community librarians have a strong sense of imbalance of labor and payments. Proper payments is the significant way to lower the subjective imbalance.
