摘要: [目的/意义]揭示替代计量(Altmetrics)研究的影响力由单一学科内部向其他学科以及向学术界之外的扩散情况,以深化对该方向的全面认识,促进替代计量研究更好地服务于学科发展和社会需求。[研究设计/方法]从Web of Science核心库采集2010—2024年的Altmetrics相关文献及其引文数据,从Altmetric.com数据库采集相应的替代计量数据,通过跨学科和出学界两个维度,对应学界内外两个层次,利用文献计量、主题分析、案例分析等方法,揭示Altmetrics产生的影响及其过程。[结论/发现] Altmetrics研究在信息资源管理学科之外发表的文献占比高达70%,信息资源管理学科之外的施引文献占比高达82%;Altmetrics知识输出的广度、强度和速度均不断增强;Altmetrics被引最高比例的引证动机是讨论,施引主题最多是用于影响力评价、热点识别和科学交流;Altmetrics在社交媒体、新闻、政策等方面有突出的表现,并展现出独特的出圈影响力形成机制。以上结果表明,Altmetrics研究作为信息资源管理的重要分支方向,取得了广泛关注和积极影响。[创新/价值]定量揭示了替代计量研究的出圈影响力,为Altmetrics的发展提供方向性参考,构建的二维分析框架具备一定的泛化应用价值。

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] This study aims to reveal how the impact of Altmetrics research diffuses from within a single discipline to other fields and beyond academia, thereby deepening comprehensive understandings of this domain and promoting altmetrics research to better serve disciplinary development and societal needs.[Design/Methodology] Altmetrics-related literatures and their citation data published between 2010 and 2024 are retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection, along with corresponding altmetrics data from the Altmetric.com database. Adopting two dimensions, interdisciplinarity and expansion beyond academia, which correspond to two levels of impact(within academia and outside academia), this study utilizes bibliometrics, thematic analysis, and case studies to uncover the cross-boundary impact generated by Altmetrics and the processes through which they unfold. [Findings/Conclusion] The results show that publications concerning Altmetrics originating outside the field of Information Resource Management account for up to 70% of all Altmetrics literature, and citing documents from outside IRM constitute up to 82% of all citations. Furthermore, the breadth, intensity, and speed of knowledge output from Altmetrics research have continuously increased. The most frequent citation motivation for citing Altmetrics work is discussion, and the most common themes of citing articles focus on impact evaluation, hot-spot identification, and scholarly communication. Altmetrics has outstanding performance in social media, news and policy, and has demonstrated a unique mechanism for forming its cross-boundary impact. These findings indicate that altmetrics research, as an important subfield of IRM, has garnered widespread attention and exerted a positive influence. [Originality/Value] This study provides a comprehensive quantitative disclosure of the cross-boundary impact of altmetrics research, offering a directional reference for the development of Altmetrics; while the two-dimensional analytical framework constructed in this work possesses some generalizable application value.
