Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] On the purpose of ensuring academic publications in which AIGC participates continue to gain the trust of the academic community and promoting the implementation of scenario-oriented application of artificial intelligence in the field of academic publishing, this paper explores the reconstruction of trust mechanism under the intervention of AIGC technology such as ChatGPT in knowledge production. [Design/Methodology] This paper analyzes the coupling between AIGC technology and knowledge production from the perspective of academic knowledge production cycle, identifies the trust crisis caused by the intervention of AIGC technology, and explores the theoretical model and practical path of trust mechanism in academic publishing. [Findings/Conclusion]Under the intervention of AIGC technology, the construction of academic publishing trust requires the three-dimensional collaboration of technical trust, interpersonal trust and institutional trust, and the "chain of responsibility" paradigm is adopted to mobilize the participation of technology developers, researchers, publishing institutions, associations, government and other subjects. [Originality/Value] In the face of the new generation of artificial intelligence technology wave, this paper discusses the evolution direction and the specific work of the construction subjects of the trust mechanism in academic publishing, so as to provide theoretical and practical guidance for promoting the healthy ecosystem of academic publishing and realizing the industrial upgrading by grasping the dividends of artificial intelligence technology.
