摘要:

大数据、人工智能、机器学习等新一代信息技术的发展,促进了数字图书馆、档案馆等公共文化机构的服务由数字化向智能化转变。机器学习的相关工具、算法能够帮助数字图书馆、档案馆分析其用户行为数据、业务处理数据等,从而为用户提供更加智能的信息服务。在这样的背景下,2018年国际数字图书馆联合会议(JCDL2018)召开了"面向数字图书馆和档案馆的信息基础设施与机器学习:数据管理、分析与出版的融合"的专题研讨会,探讨网络基础设施与机器学习方法等在数字图书馆、档案馆的数据管理过程中的应用问题。本文主要对本次研讨会中的9场专题报告进行综述,以期向读者介绍当前国际上围绕这一研究领域所展开的相关研究工作。

Abstract:

The development of the new generation of information technology, such as big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning, has promoted thechangefromdigital to intelligentinthe service of public cultural institutions such as digital libraries and archives. Machine learning tools and algorithms can help digital libraries and archives to analyze their user behavior data, business processing data, etc., to provide more intelligent information services for users. Under this background, the workshop on "Cyberinfrastructure and Machine Learning for Digital Libraries and Archives: Integrating Data Management, Analysis, and Publication" in the Joint Conference on Digital Library (JCDL 2018) was held in US. This paper mainly reviews nine special reports of this workshop, with a view to introducing the current international research work on this field.
