An Exploratory Study of Digital Reverse Mentoring Based on Grounded Theory from the Youth’s Perspective

摘要: [目的/意义]将“信息学时刻”引入家庭场景中,致力于探究数字反哺机制,为弥合数字鸿沟、促进代际交流提供建议。[研究设计/方法]招募了20位大学生进行访谈,考察其教授父母使用数字技术的过程,并使用扎根理论进行分析。[结论/发现]揭示了数字反哺的触发机制、具体行为和结果,指出反哺过程中遇到的困难及解决方式。[创新/价值]不再局限于数字反哺的影响因素,而是深入探究数字反哺的过程要素及其相互关系,构建数字反哺机制模型。

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] This paper introduces the "Informatics Moments" into the scenario of family, dedicating to explore the mechanism of digital reverse mentoring, and providing suggestions for bridging the digital divide and promoting intergenerational interactions.[Design/Methodology] Twenty college students were recruited for interviews to examine the specific process of teaching their parents to use digital devices and the data analysis was conducted using the grounded theory. [Findings/Conclusion] The triggering mechanism, specific behavior and results of digital reverse mentoring are revealed. The difficulties and their solutions in the process are pointed out. [Originality/Value] This paper is no longer limited to explore the influencing factors, but deeply study the specific elements and their relationships of digital reverse mentoring, and constructs a model of digital reverse mentoring mechanism.
