Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] The promotion of the integration of healthcare and senior care services is crucial for developing of the silver economy and enhancing the satisfaction of the elderly. However, the current challenges in data integration of healthcare and senior care data include a low willingness among stakeholders to share data and insufficient exploration of effective data integration schemes. [Design/Methodology] Through literature review and theoretical analysis, this paper proposes a task-oriented multi-source heterogeneous healthcare and senior data fusion framework based on affordance-actualization theory. Then, the feasibility of the proposed framework is validated using real-world datasets. [Findings/Conclusion] This framework clarifies the types and collection methods of healthcare and senior care data resources, designs a elderly healthcare and nursing records hierarchical system that includes basic information, disease and symptoms, health status and daily care, and provides data provisioning schemes for six typical downstream tasks. [Originality/Value] The healthcare and senior data fusion framework proposed in this paper facilitates a full-chain integration process, ranging from data collection and fusion of healthcare and senior care institutions to serving downstream tasks, thereby providing both theoretical and practical support for the fusion of healthcare and senior care data.
