在线慢病社区中社会支持对用户持续参与的影响研究

摘要:  [目的/意义]在线慢病社区已成为慢病患者获取社会支持的重要平台。通过分析在线慢病社区的帖子数据来探索社会支持类型对用户持续参与的影响,有助于掌握用户在实际使用过程中的心理,促进在线健康社区用户持续参与。[研究设计/方法]使用文本挖掘方法识别在线糖尿病社区“甜蜜家园”中帖子的社会支持类型,利用生存分析方法分析在线慢病社区中各种社会支持类型的发帖以及回帖对发帖者持续参与的影响。[结论/发现]发帖具有“索求驱动”的影响作用,即寻求信息或陪伴支持的常态化索求发帖对该用户持续参与有正向影响,寻求情感支持的突发性索求发帖有负向影响,而提供信息或情感支持的发帖没有显著影响。他人回帖具有“供需联结”“协作反馈”及“潜移默化”的影响作用,即提供信息与陪伴支持的回帖分别正向影响信息寻求者与社区陪伴者的程度更高,提供信息或情感支持的回帖正向影响信息提供者,而陪伴支持类回帖正向影响情感搜寻者。[创新/价值]揭示了社会支持对在线慢病社区用户使用行为的影响,为在线慢病社区服务优化提供有益参考。

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] Online health communities(OHCs)have become important platforms for patients with chronic diseases to obtain social support. The aim of this study is to analyze the posts in OHCs to figure out the impact of social support on user's continued engagement, which helps to grasp the psychology of users in the using process, and promotes users' continued engagement in OHCs. [Design/Methodology] Taking "Sweet Home" as an example,the study used text mining method to identify the social support types in posts of the online diabetes community, and employed the survival analysis of lifespan to analyze the impact of different social support types of posts and replies on the continued engagement of the post initiator in online chronic diseases community. [Findings/Conclusion] The results of this study demonstrate that(1)The postings that requiring for support in OHCs have an impact of "Demand-driven", that is, a normalized posting for informational support or companionship support has a positive impact on users’continued engagement, while an emergent posting for emotion support has a negative impact. A Posting that providing informational support or emotional support has no significant impact.(2)The posts replied from others have the influence of "Supply-Demand Connection", "Collaborative Feedback" and "Subtle Influence", that is, the information seekers and community companions are respectively affected to a higher degree by replied posts that providing informational support and companionship, and the information providers are positively influenced by replied posts that providing informational support or emotional support, and the emotional support seekers are positively influenced by replied posts that belong to companionship. [Originality/Value] This study reveals the effect of social support on the user's behaviors in online chronic disease community, and provides insightful advice for OHCs platforms to optimize their service.
