Abstract: ［Purpose/Significance］This paper combs and analyzes the hotspots and cutting-edge issues of archival science research in China, which intends to provide reference for the disciplinary system construction of archival science and archival theoretical research, and offer insight and support to the development and reform of archival practice. ［Design/Methodology］All the papers published in Archives Science Bulletin and Archives Science Study, all the important policies launched, all the significant academic conferences held and the national projects initiated during the period of 2015 to 2019 were taken as the research samples. By using bibliometric method and text analysis method, all these samples were reviewed and analyzed in order to obtain the hotspots and cutting-edge issues of archival science in China, as well as the elaboration and explanation.
［Findings/Conclusion］It has been found that the hotspots and cutting-edge issues of archives research in China include archival science research, archives and digital archives, digital and network information technology of a new generation and archival work, electronic file management, archive resource systems and service system development, archival documentation and research, heritage protection of archival documentation and archives management of the intangible cultural heritage, archival profession, archives and memory, digital humanities and archives, archives governance, and the reform of archives management system.
［Originality/Value］The hotspots and cutting-edge issues of archival science research in China have been reviewed and analyzed.
