LIS教育调查与国际LIS教育的世纪变革——以Williamson调查和KALIPER调查为中心的观察

LIS Educational Investigation and International LIS Education Transformation at Century’s Turns——Mainly on the Observation of the Williamson and KALIPER Investigations

摘要:

Williamson调查与KALIPER调查及它们前后LIS教育的转变,直接反映并推动了19至20世纪、20至21世纪两个时间段里LIS教育的发展与变革情况。论文采用历史研究的方法,在梳理两次调查相关资料的基础上,进一步探讨了它们的作用与影响,并提出两者在调查范围、文本组织等方面的差异是由于它们有着不同的定位:Williamson调查所开展的是图书馆行业内部的阶段性改良,而KALIPER调查则关乎整个学科的重新定位,而作为教育调查报告,两者在推动人才培育、学科转型和形成行业共识方面均发挥了重要的作用。

Abstract:

Williamson and KALIPER Investigations promote and reflect the development and transformation of LIS education in two periods: from 19th to 20th century and from 20th to 21th century. Applying historical research method and based on summarized materials, the article discusses their effect and influence in particular time. These two investigations held difference between research scales and organization of the text because of their different purposes: Williamson Investigation intends to improve library career while KALIPER Investigation intends to redefine the whole area. Both investigations play important role in fostering talent, promoting professional paradigm and reaching consensus.
