Abstract: ［Purpose/Significance］This paper intends to make an in-depth analysis on the projects funded by the national science foundation in the field of Library, Information and Archives Management. It aims to present the development trend of the field from the perspective of the funds, and provide a systematic reference for researchers.［Design/Methodology］By using statistical analysis, word frequency analysis and visualization methods, this study analyzed the amount, regions, institutions and topics of the projects funded by the national social science foundation (1994-2018) and the national natural science foundation (1997-2018).
［Findings/Conclusion］The development of Library, Information and Archives Management is continuing to mature, but disparity remains in the distribution of regions and scientific research institutions. Moreover, the evolution of research themes reflects consistency and transformation of the discipline development.［Originality/Value］This paper comprehensively examines the projects supported by the national science foundation in the field of Library, Information and Archives Management, and clarifies the diffusion trends of the funding projects among regions and institutions. Furthermore, this paper presents the diachronic evolution of subject terms intuitively, takes both hot and emerging topics into consideration, and fairly distinguishes the consistent and the rising words.
