Research on the Transformation of Library Science Talent Training Model in the Practice of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] The purpose of this paper is exploring the path of digital transformation in the cultivation of new liberal arts library science talents through the combination of integrated training with micro direction, and comprehensively enhancing talent cultivation capabilities. [Design/Methodology] The paper analyzes the transformation needs of talent cultivation models brought about by national major strategies, business innovation, and technological progress, condenses the transformation concepts of library science talent cultivation models in the practice of new liberal arts, summarizes the practice, and proposes the transformation ideas of library science talent cultivation models. [Findings/Conclusion] The cultivation of new liberal arts library science talents should strengthen ideological and political guidance, with the goal of enhancing the comprehensive abilities of talents; adhere to integrity and innovation, accelerate the digital transformation and upgrading of professional courses; construct a cultivation system that combines continuous cultivation and micro direction; cultivate high-level leading innovative talents with a global perspective. [Originality/Value] This study is helpful to promote the digital transformation of talent cultivation in library science, and provide reference for the transformation of traditional disciplinary talent cultivation models in the practice of new liberal arts.
