iSchools Movement and the Discipline Integration: Current Situation and Trend

摘要:

在详细调查iSchools成员学科专业设置状况基础上,探讨了联盟图书情报学等信息学科与其相关学科整合现状,总结其学科整合呈现出以下三大趋势:①在信息学科内部,图书馆学、情报学与档案学整合趋势加强;②信息学科与商业、生物等学科交叉融合更加深入;③在博士学位教育层次,传统信息学科与哲学联系愈加密切。

Abstract:

Based on the detailed investigation of iSchools’ disciplines, this paper discusses the integration situation of information science ,such as the Library and Information Science ,and its related disciplines. The three tendencies of the iSchools’ disciplines integration are found:(1)within the information science, the integration of Library and Information science and Archives tends to strengthen;(2)the integration of information science and others, such as Business and Biology, will be more indepth;(3)in Doctorate education level, the relationship between information science and Philosophy is even closer.
